Interview With Maxim
Inessa (HR Specialist): Maxim, hi! You’ve been with us since autumn 2021. Do you remember your first day?
Maxim: Hi! Yes, of course. It was exciting—new job, new team, everything unfamiliar. I started as an electrician, and honestly, I was pretty nervous. But the guys gave me a warm welcome and immediately explained how things work. Here, newcomers aren’t left alone; colleagues always help you settle in, so I adapted quickly.
Inessa: How do you find the atmosphere in the team?
Maxim: It’s comfortable! The team is friendly—if you don’t know something, there’s always someone to guide you. This is especially important for those coming from other countries. We have a special department that helps with documents and adaptation, and it genuinely makes life easier.
Inessa: How did you become a Supervisor?
Maxim: Gradually. I took on challenging tasks, learned to handle project documentation, and tried not just to complete tasks but to understand all the processes involved. Over time, I started helping colleagues and coordinating work on different sites. Management noticed this and offered me a promotion.
Inessa: What about working abroad? Galantas participates in international projects, doesn’t it?
Maxim: Yes, we have projects in other countries, and it’s a fantastic experience. Working abroad provides not only professional growth but also the chance to see how processes are organized elsewhere. Of course, there are nuances—different standards and requirements—but once you adapt quickly, everything is fine.
Inessa: How’s your interaction with management?
Maxim: Everything is transparent; you can openly discuss any questions. If you have ideas or want to grow, they’ll support you. The most important thing is to take initiative.
Inessa: What advice would you give to newcomers?
Maxim: Don’t hesitate to ask questions, take initiative, and keep learning. If you’re coming from abroad, definitely reach out to our support team—they’ll help with documents and adjustment. Here, those who genuinely want to work and grow always get support.
Inessa: Thank you, Maxim! It was great chatting with you. Good luck!
Maxim: Thank you! Happy to share my experience.
